About

The OutpatientCenter project was completed in 2001. The  $8 million project added approximately 50,000 square-feet in two areas of expansion. The primary expansion accommodated a 30 – station Day Surgery / Outpatient Prep and Recovery Suite, complete with one Imaging Room and Express Admit area, in approximately 18,900 square-feet; a 19 – bed Rehab Unit and Rehab Therapy suite in approximately 18,300 square-feet, and a 16 – bed Intermediate Care Step-Down Unit adjacent to the existing ICU in 10,000 square-feet (some of which was finish out of shell space).  A smaller expansion of about 4,700 square-feet was added to the Surgical Services Suite to provide 3 additional Operating Rooms and storage space.

Approximately 24,000 square-feet of renovation were also involved with this project to address Surgical Services and ICU.  Within Surgical Services, renovation was provided to expand PACU and some of the support space.  The existing ICU received some renovation in the Patient Rooms in addition to renovation / expansion of the support areas. The Laboratory Expansion / MRI Addition project was completed in 2003, and has a combined total square footage of new and renovated space of 8,890 square feet at an estimated budget of $1.4 million
