SBL gives thanks with Mission Arlington

Vince Lombardi once said, individual commitment to a group effort – that’s what makes a team work, a company work, a community work, and a mission work. I took the liberty to add the last part because, for more than 25 years, SBL Architecture’s employees and their families have been stepping away from their desks to come together in support of a local organization, Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex.

Mission Arlington has been responding to the City of Arlington’s community needs since 1986 and has since included the entire DFW metroplex. Those community needs become particularly heightened during the holidays.

Last night, we had an unforgettable night. It brought together a team of 23, made up of staff, friends, and family. It was one of the best-attended community service nights in SBL’s history. The SBL team assisted the Mission in their preparations to feed thousands for Thanksgiving. Last year, it was reported that over 25 thousand people, making up 6,300 families, had Thanksgiving delivered to them thanks to Mission Arlington.

SBL Architecture is dedicated to being a good City of Arlington community partner, and volunteering with organizations like Mission Arlington is just one of the many ways we can do just that.
