The Florida Heart and Vascular Center, located in Leesburg, Florida approximately 40 miles northwest of Orlando, is a three-story, 27,000 square foot addition to an existing 8,000 square foot Medical Office Building.
The building was designed to blend seamlessly with the existing facility, while still standing as the primary presence for the site. The exterior is reminiscent of the Italian Renaissance, and the inside has been described by Steve Ferguson of the Daily Commercial (a local newsletter) as “…a small hospital…[with] an almost ‘at home’ feeling. It’s a place where you can come and be very relaxed [during] a very stressful time.” Additionally, the third floor efficiently occupies what would have been the attic, utilizing this area as an exclusive corporate Gym for the employees.
