The project consisted of a partial pharmacy renovation of approximately 2,790 SF of the existing pharmacy compounding suite and general pharmacy for the primary purpose of upgrading the compounding suite for compliance with current codes and reference standards including a new separate HVAC system to serve the compounding suite, a new ante II room, lab office and conference relocation, and hazardous drug prep, dispensing and storage room.
Each room was brought up to compliance with the Alabama Department of Public Health standards and USP 797 & 800 standards.
