Karin Taylor received NCIDQ certification

Karin Taylor, RID recently passed the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ) exam. Karin has been at SBL for 2 years and works as an interior designer on healthcare, hospitality and cultural entertainment projects. Recently, she has been the team lead on several projects and has worked on projects in Texas and New Jersey. Karin has also worked on several tenant improvement/interiors projects, where her tasks have included schematic design, construction document production, construction administration, and finish and furniture selection.

The NCIDQ is an independent, nonprofit organization that qualifies interior designers who have the knowledge and experience to create aesthetically pleasing, functional and safe interior spaces.

Passing the NCIDQ exam brings a level of competency to any project because the tests are based not just on design, but also life safety and professional practice.

Karin has a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Baylor University.
