Sterling Barnett Little Wins “Best Meal” Award in CANstruction® Event

20 Oct 2009, Posted by Jaime Pacilio in Uncategorized

Sterling Barnett Little competed with 9 other teams representing local architectural firms, engineering firms, and universities to build 8 x 10 foot structures out of cans. Our tractor structure, “Flush Away Hunger,” was honored with a Best Meal 2009 award. Even better, the event resulted in a total of 55,000 pounds of food which was all donated to the Tarrant Area Food Bank.

This year marked the 11th Annual Tarrant County Canstruction® competition benefiting the Tarrant Area Food Bank. This was our 8th year participating, and we had a blast CANstructing this year!

We could not have accomplished this without the help and support of the following contributors: T.S. Byrne Construction, Hi-Tech Flooring, G.L. Seaman, C&C Wholesale, ADW Corporation, Ted Rabel, Kroger, Albertsons, USG, Mannington, Mohawk Flooring, HumanScale, Landscapeforms, Armstrong, Kimball Office,  Ridgeways, and Patcraft, as well as many individual contribution.

A Huge THANK YOU from the team at Sterling Barnett Little!
